These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the CajaRent.com website and the hire of reusable moving boxes, dollies, labels, and any related equipment or services provided by CajaRent.com.
By placing an order, submitting a request, making a booking, or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

<< 2. Our service >>
CajaRent.com provides reusable moving box hire with delivery and collection, together with any agreed related equipment or add-ons.
We serve Gibraltar and selected surrounding areas, subject to service area, availability, and acceptance.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not provide packing services, unpacking services, moving labour, porterage, or transport of your goods.
<< 3. Eligibility to book >>
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to place an order with us.
If you book on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
<< 4. Requests, orders, and booking confirmation >>
All requests and bookings are subject to availability, service area, and acceptance.
Please ensure that any booking form or enquiry form is completed carefully so that we can confirm delivery, collection, pricing, and access requirements.
A booking is only confirmed once we have accepted your order and, where applicable, received any required payment or deposit.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where:
• stock is unavailable;
• the requested address falls outside our service area;
• access is unsafe, restricted, or impractical;
• incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided; or
• we reasonably suspect misuse of our services.
<< 5. Prices, currency, and payment >>
All prices displayed or quoted are in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise.
Prices may include, depending on the booking:
• box hire;
• equipment hire;
• delivery and collection charges;
• extension fees;
• out-of-area charges;
• loss, damage, cleaning, or replacement charges; and
• any other agreed service fees.
Full payment may be required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Where a deposit is required, we may retain, apply, or refund it in accordance with these Terms and any applicable booking terms.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to update pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings will be charged at the agreed booking price unless an obvious error has occurred.
<< 6. Package pricing and standard charges >>
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our current standard pricing includes the following:
<< Rental packages >>
• Basic package for a studio: £90
20 boxes for a minimum of 1 week
Extra days: £13 per day
Extra weeks: £44 per week
• Medium package for a 1-bedroom move: £114
30 boxes for a minimum of 1 week
Extra days: £17 per day
Extra weeks: £59 per week
• Larger package: £145
40 boxes for a minimum of 1 week
Extra days: £20 per day
Extra weeks: £74 per week
<< Delivery and collection charges >>
• Zone 1 (Gibraltar only): £40 one-time delivery and collection charge
• Zone 2 (La Línea, Algeciras, Los Barrios, Sotogrande, and locations up to 30 km from Gibraltar): £80 one-time delivery and collection charge
Where a promotion, partner arrangement, package, or written offer expressly states that delivery and/or collection is included, that stated offer will apply instead of the standard charge.
Out-of-area delivery and collection outside our standard service coverage may be refused or charged separately after review.

• Late-stage cancellation fee (less than 24 hours’ notice): £30
• Excessive soiling / extra cleaning required on return: £40
• Damaged or lost box: £30 per box
• Damaged or lost dolly: £70 per dolly
• Late returns: charged at the applicable daily extension rate for the chosen package
<< 7. Delivery and collection >>
We will use reasonable efforts to deliver and collect hired items at the agreed address and within the agreed timeframe.
You are responsible for ensuring:
• the address details are accurate;
• safe and lawful access is available;
• any building restrictions, permits, lifts, stairs, parking issues, or timed access requirements are disclosed in advance; and
• someone is available. Attendance at handover is required.
Your driver will wait for up to 20 minutes at delivery or collection. If you fail to appear during that time, or if delivery or collection cannot be completed because of no access, nobody being available, incorrect address details, unsafe conditions, or undisclosed restrictions, we may treat this as a failed delivery, failed collection, or failed handover.
In such cases, we may charge one or more of the following, as applicable:
• an additional delivery or collection fee;
• the full price of the rental contract;
• late or overdue return fees; and/or
• any other reasonable costs of rearranging service.
<< 8. Rental period and extensions >>
The rental period begins on the date the hired items are delivered or made available to you and ends on the date they are collected by us or otherwise returned in accordance with our instructions.
If you wish to keep the hired items beyond the agreed rental period, you must request an extension before the scheduled collection date.
Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.
Late returns will be charged at the daily extension rate for the chosen package.
If hired items are not made available for collection at the agreed time, we may continue to charge rental or extension fees until collection is completed.
Charges for rental extensions already used are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise.
<< 9. Use of hired items >>
You agree to use all hired items properly, carefully, and only for their intended purpose.
You must not:
• sell, lend, sub-hire, or part with possession of the hired items;
• use the hired items for unlawful purposes;
• intentionally damage, alter, mark, deface, or dismantle the hired items;
• expose the hired items to conditions likely to cause avoidable damage; or
• remove or interfere with any labels, identification marks, tracking codes, or branding.
You are responsible for the hired items from delivery until collection.
<< 10. Condition of items and customer responsibilities >>
We aim to supply clean, usable, and serviceable hired items.
You must inspect the hired items on delivery and notify us within 24 hours if anything appears missing, damaged, or materially unsuitable.
Fair wear and tear is accepted. Damage beyond fair wear and tear, loss, theft, or failure to return hired items may result in additional charges.
You are responsible for:
• packing your own contents safely and appropriately;
• ensuring hired items are not overloaded beyond reasonable use;
• keeping hired items secure from theft, misuse, or unnecessary damage;
• ensuring hired items are empty and accessible for collection; and
• returning any accessories, labels, dollies, carts, or other hired equipment supplied with the order.
CajaRent.com is not responsible for how your belongings are packed, stored, lifted, transported, or handled by you or any third party.
<< 11. Loss, damage, non-return, and cleaning >>
You are liable for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of any hired item that is lost, stolen, destroyed, not returned, or damaged beyond fair wear and tear while in your possession or control.
We may charge for:
• lost or damaged boxes;
• lost or damaged dollies;
• missing accessories or labels;
• excessive soiling or cleaning;
• replacement of labels, inserts, or tracking identifiers; and
• recovery costs where collection is made materially more difficult by your actions or omissions.
Our current standard charges include:
• £30 per damaged or lost box;
• £70 per damaged or lost dolly; and
• £40 for excessive soiling or extra cleaning required on return.
<< 12. Cancellations >>
If you need to cancel your booking, you should contact us as soon as possible.
This cancellation policy applies subject to any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
Unless separate written terms apply, the following cancellation terms apply:
• More than 48 hours before delivery: full refund of any amount paid
• 24 to 48 hours before delivery: refund less any non-refundable booking, delivery, or administrative fee stated at the time of booking
• Less than 24 hours before delivery: amounts paid may be non-refundable, or only partially refundable at our discretion, and a late-stage cancellation fee of £30 may apply where appropriate
This reflects the fact that inventory, delivery time, and scheduling capacity may already have been allocated to your booking.
Completed deliveries, completed collections, out-of-area charges already incurred, urgent or same-day scheduling fees, custom branding or personalised project costs, and rental extensions already used are generally non-refundable once incurred.
Nothing in this section removes any cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
<< 13. Rescheduling >>
We will try to accommodate date changes where possible.
• More than 24 hours before delivery: rescheduling is normally free
• Less than 24 hours before delivery: a rescheduling fee of £30 may apply
• All rescheduling is subject to availability
<< 14. Refunds >>
Refunds may be issued where:
• you cancel within the applicable refund window;
• we are unable to provide the booked service;
• there has been an error in billing; or
• we agree that a service issue justifies a partial or full refund.
Refunds will usually be made to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
<< 15. Our right to cancel or reschedule >>
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking where necessary, including in cases of:
• severe weather;
• vehicle breakdown;
• staff illness;
• unsafe delivery conditions;
• events outside our reasonable control; or
• incorrect or incomplete booking information.
If we cancel and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, you will receive a full refund for any amount paid for the affected service.
<< 16. Business, partner, and custom bookings >>
Separate written terms may apply to commercial accounts, partner subscriptions, co-branded projects, office relocations, event logistics, larger moves, or other custom arrangements.
Where separate written terms apply, those terms will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
<< 17. Website use >>
You may use the CajaRent.com website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
• misuse the website;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
• introduce malicious code;
• use the website in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it; or
• copy, reproduce, or exploit website content for commercial purposes without permission.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the website at any time for operational, legal, or security reasons.

All content on CajaRent.com, including text, branding, logos, graphics, images, layout, and other material, is owned by or licensed to us unless otherwise stated.

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss;
• we are not liable for loss arising from delays caused by events outside our reasonable control;
• we are not liable for loss or damage to items packed, stored, or transported by you or any third party; and
• our total liability in relation to any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking, except where the law requires otherwise.
<< 22. Events outside our control >>
We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, accident, traffic disruption, vehicle breakdown, labour shortage, illness, government action, or other unforeseen events.
Where this happens, we will use reasonable efforts to contact you and rearrange the affected service.
<< 23. Changes to these Terms >>
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the revised effective date.
Any changes will apply to future bookings. Confirmed bookings will remain subject to the Terms in force at the time of booking unless we are required by law to apply a change differently.
<< 24. Governing law >>
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Gibraltar, except where mandatory consumer protection rules apply otherwise.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gibraltar, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
